Our taproom is the home of North Garden Brewery
Come and enjoy quality craft beer brewed right here, in Burgess Hill.
We have 10 keg lines and up to 4 cask line serving our own distinctive beers alongside guest beers, ciders, wines and spirits supporting other small craft makers.
We have an expertly curated wine list, craft ciders and exceptional spirits to chose from. Our range of soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages has something for all tastes.
Opening hours
Regular Taproom Opening Hours:
Wednesday: 4pm - 11pm
Thursday: 4pm - 11pm
Friday: 12pm - 11.30pm
Saturday: 12pm - 11.30pm
Sunday: 12pm - 8pm.
The taproom is available for private and community hire Monday - Wednesday evenings. Please email us on events@thebrickworkstaproom.co.uk to discuss.

Who we are

James
Co-Owner & Brewery Manager
James founded North Garden Brewery and is the driving force behind it.
Away from the brewery he enjoys swimming, paddleboarding and listening to nu-metal music.
Paul
Co-Owner & Taproom Manager
Paul was the founder of the now departed Bestens Brewery.
When not behind the bar he enjoys having a nap and watching football, rugby and test cricket.
Mike
Brewer, Bar Staff & Barista
Mike is our multi-tool. He does everything, and he does them well.
When not at The Brickworks he can be found playing football, cycling or pumping iron at the gym.
Sarah
Bar Staff
Sarah joined our taproom team in Spring 2025.
She spends her time away from us flying across the world as a flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic.
Frances
Assistant Taproom Manager
Frances is a recent law graduate from Cardiff University.
Born and raised in the shadow of The Brickworks, she is a local as local gets!
